Very large Japanese Taisho to early Showa period cloisonné enamel wide shouldered vase tapering to a narrow base decorated with a dense assorted floral spray on the front and a single flower to the back all set against a dark blue ground. Copper substrate, base and rims. Circa 1915-1930. 14 5/8” high x about 8 1/2” wide. Very good overall condition. There are faintly visible spider crack scratches to the blue ground. From the Tucson, Arizona collection of expatriates to Japan in the 1970s.
