Chinese late Qing dynasty rectangular form wood stand with three levels for objects possibly constructed from fragments of temple carvings. The high relief panels feature figures, flowers, and leafy scrolling vines highlighted in gilt and red. Circa 1900. 16 3/4" long x 7 3/8" high x 5" deep. The stand is sturdy and in good, solid overall condition with typical wear for the age. One side is slightly slanted and has a narrow piece of carving missing (see image). From the collection of former American expatriates to Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s.
