Pencil-signed Japanese mid-century sosaku hanga woodblock print titled "Moonlight Night" depicting a sleeping owl by Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965) dating circa 1950 to early 1960s. The artist's pencil signature and red seal are at the lower left section of the image. Paper: 11" x 16 1/2" (image: 9 1/4” x 14 3/4”). Very good overall condition with full margins. There are a few short soft creases at the lower left and there is a small scuff mark above the red seal. The margins are slightly distressed and the back margins are slightly thinned.
