Japanese limited edition copperplate etching and aquatint titled “Winter Morning” by Tanaka Ryohei (1933-2019). Pencil-signed, dated '75, and numbered 35/100 in the lower margin. Paper: 14 1/2" x 11 3/4" (image: 11 5/8" x 9 3/8"). Good overall condition. The etching was previously framed but the back is clean and without tape or tape stains. The image is lightly sunstruck and there is a faint mat line visible in part of the margin. A soft paper crease extends across the top above the branch (see closeup). This image is illustrated as plate No. 156 in the Tanaka Ryohei Catalogue Raisonne 1963-1984.
