Chinese Qing dynasty silk brocade lady’s winter coat covered overall in a dense pattern of small phoenix and dragon roundels among clouds and precious objects all set against a purple ground. The center front opening holds five metal buttons. High collar and wool boucle lining. Late 19th to early 20th century. Measures about 29 1/2" long by 51” from sleeve tip to sleeve tip.
