Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "Avenue of Cherry Trees" from the series "Eight Scenes of Cherry Blossoms" by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) dated Showa 10 (1935). First edition impression with "jizure" (self-printed) seal in the upper left margin. The artist's black ink brush signature and red seal is at the lower right with the pencil-signature below. Illustrated in "The Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi," Abe Publications, color plate #198. Paper measures 10 5/8" x 15 7/8" (image size: 9 1/2" x 14 5/8"). Very good overall condition with full margins. The print is slightly faded and a narrow tear is along the top margin edge. There is a faint fine mat line in the right margin and two tiny pinholes are at the top corners.
