Set of three Japanese Meiji period Satsuma cups and saucers finely decorated with a dense floral pattern in overglaze enamels and gilt highlights on a cream-colored crackle glaze ground. A geometric band extends around the rim of the saucers. One cup has an unreadable rectangular impressed mark on the base. Circa 1900 to early 20th century. Saucer: 4 1/4" diameter; Cup: 2 3/16" high. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some minor typical color absorption to the interior of the cups from use.
