Chinese late Qing dynasty square form lacquered wood scholar's desk tray or serving tray with narrow raised edge inlayed with a mother-of-pearl design featuring flowers and leafy vines. Late 19th to early 20th century. 12 1/4” square x 5/8” high. Good, solid overall condition. There are some losses to the inlay, a few separations in the wood, and some small traces of what appears to be adhesive residue by some of the inlay.
