Japanese wood rectangular form Kyoto style naga hibachi featuring a thick lip extending around the top rim, three drawers with metal warabite handles, copper lined interior, and a rectangular compartment with a removeable wood cover for storing accessories. Showa period (early 20th century). This small size was possibly designed for guest or travel use. 21 3/4” long x 13 1/4” x 10 1/4" high; weighs 18 lbs. Very good and solid overall condition complete with nicely patinaed copper liner and wood lid for the storage compartment. Typical minor wear from use.
