Chinese Qing dynasty ink and color on silk painting of a maiden in a garden setting seated on rockery and holding a flower under a willow tree. The ink inscription at the upper left states the painting was executed in the guimao year (1843) after Ming artist Tang Yin (1470-1524). Signed Wujin artist Tang Luming (1804-1874) and with two red artist seals, "Tang Luming yin" and "Lemin." An unidentified collector’s seal is at the lower left. Framed with UV Plexiglas. 19th century. Frame size: 40 1/4” x 15 3/4" (visible painting size: 38 5/8” x 14”). Very good overall condition. The painting is mounted to a backing. From a Tucson, Arizona collection.
