Large vintage Chinese ink and color on paper painting depicting a mountain village in the mist by Wu Gu-hung signed and dated 1974 in black ink with the artist's red seal above. Custom framed with Plexiglas and a pale gray silk-wrapped mat in a deep hand-silvered wood moulding. Framed size: 33" x 50." This painting is from the former collection of an elderly American expatriate to Asia in the 1970s and his Taiwanese wife. They purchased the painting in the 1970s at an exhibition of the artist's work in Hong Kong.
