18” tall Chinese Republic period Canton enamel on copper vase with trumpet mouth, two flanges on opposing sides of the tall neck, a bulbous mid-section, and flared recessed base. The vase is decorated with two central white ground bird and flower motifs set against a black background densely covered in bright polychrome enamel flowers and scrolling foliage. The base and interior are white. Early 20th century. Very good overall condition with only minor imperfections. The bottom is slightly uneven, so it wobbles a bit.
