Large Qing dynasty Guangxu period cylindrical scroll pot or brush pot decorated on opposing sides with a white foliate cartouche decorated with the one hundred antiques motif. The medallions are set against a blue background with white prunus blossoms. The pot has a massive presence, measuring 8” high x 8 3/8” diameter and weighing over 6 lbs. 19th century. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. From the collection of an expatriate to Guangzhou and Beijing from 1983 to 1987.
