Chinese late Qing dynasty baitong (white brass), also called paktong, opium smoking pipe with nicely incised decoration featuring two beauties on a veranda on half of the base and calligraphy on the other half. Marked under the circular hinged top of the opium holder. The original tweezer and brush tool are included. Late 19th to early 20th century. 10 3/4” high to the tip of the pipe stem, base about 2 5/8” long x 1 1/4" wide x 2 1/2” high (to flat, circular lid). Very good overall condition. From an old Scottsdale, Arizona collection.
