Chinese Qing dynasty hardwood wardrobe cabinet with two large doors and a lower apron carved with a flying bat motif. A round round brass lock plate is at the center. The doors and center bar are removable. Supporting wood beams in the interior can hold removable shelves. The cabinet was previously used as an armoire and has been modified to hold a hanging bar. 19th century. 70" high x 49 1/4" wide x 20 3/4" deep. Interior dimensions (measured from inside the supporting wood beams): 56" x 46 1/2" x 17." Very solid and in good overall condition. There are some typical separations in the wood and some old restorations.
