Old Chinese jadeite bi disc finely incised on one side with a Buddha’s hand citron and on the opposite side with a peach. The jadeite is a beautiful celadon color with a faint blue tint. Images taken with a flash have been included to better show the decoration. Measures over 2” diameter x ¼” thick. The weight is 43 grams. Probably dates from the Republic period. Very good overall condition. This is high quality jadeite that has not been treated. From the lifelong collection of a 97-year-old former Scottsdale, Arizona resident. She and her husband acquired the bulk of their collection in Chicago and St. Paul, Minnesota in the 1950s.
