Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period peach-bloom glazed pear-shaped porcelain vase (“yuhuchunping”) with large belly and slender, short neck rising to a flared mouth. The base bears an underglaze blue 6-character two-line kaishu “da Qing Kangxi nian zhi” (Great Qing Kangxi year made) mark within a double circle. Circa 1880. 11 ¼” high. Excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There are a few typical kiln imperfections. From a Tucson, Arizona collection. According to an old appraisal, the vase has been in the same family since at least the 1980s and was originally purchased in the U.S.
